My whole place is ankle deep in water and I'm having to work in my car...which now smells like wet dog. How is everyone else doing?
Dry, roof leaks from last weekend have been tarped up and patched, waiting for the next round of rain... Love your Dog Dog!
Ouch. At least your dog seems chill. Mine would be flipping their s*** until they passed out from exhaustion.
Damn dude, I'm sorry to hear that. My moms in Fredericksburg right now on a wine tasting tour, and I'm all set to move tomorrow morning. Take care up there!
I'm working from home in Jonestown. It has been raining all day and there's been a noticeable rise in Lake Travis.
Guadalupe River peaked at 43,000 cfs at the Spring Branch gauge, Blanco River at 92,000 north/northwest of San Marcos. Canyon Lake area got pounded. Onion Creek at 183 in Austin got 14 inches, the bank full stage there is 14 feet, it crested at 39 feet. It's raining like crazy down in Houston now, at least in the Clear Lake area. I went to get breakfast half an hour ago and it was barely sprinkling, then it just started pouring to the point that I was barely able to make it back home. Crazy.
Went to the doctor early this morning by NRG and you could barely see anything. Driving back towards friendswood was the same. I'm suppose to be at work right now in downtown but I don't want to risk it either.
