Bob, have the last game this week on Sandbox Footy, and there are doubts over Culpepper playing, i have Flutie and Plummer as backups, who are averaging 4.6 and 5.5 respectively. K Stewart is on the waivers averaging 7, or i could take a punt and pick Culpeppers back up Bubby Brister off the waivers and hope Carter and Moss can get him a good score? What do you think? If i win this week i win the league Smeg ------------------ "What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples??" - Heath Ledger in 10 things I hate about you [This message has been edited by SmeggySmeg (edited December 19, 2000).]
Dec. 19- Brister appears in line for his first start since 1998 if Daunte Culpepper's sprained right ankle keeps him out of the game, which appears possible. Brister will face a weak, but recently hot, Indianapolis defense. If you are desperate for a QB in the last week, he could be a solid pickup if he starts this week. Not sure how much that helps. I thought you would provide me with some genius. This final game is for the league, i win it's mine, so yeah i suppose i need a reasonable QB, as Culpepper normally delivers over 15ppg ------------------ "What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples??" - Heath Ledger in 10 things I hate about you
Any chance Donovan McNabb is on the waiver wire? ------------------ When we tire of well-worn ways, we seek for new. This restless craving in the souls of men spurs them to climb, and to seek the mountain view. -- Ella Wheeler Wilcox
Bob, these are the options Culpepper- 17ppg, but may not play Plummer- 5.5 Flutie- 4.6 And off the waivers K Stewart- 7.1 Vinnie Testaverde- 6.2 Jay Feilder- 6.1 Jeff George- 5.5 Bubby Brister- 0, but may start for Vikes ------------------ "What is it with this girl, has she got beer flavoured nipples??" - Heath Ledger in 10 things I hate about you
Brister is your best bet. Fiedler is terrible George is injured Testeverde is playing against the #1 defense. Kordell is also a risk, but has been playing well of late. I would take Brister. hmmm,I'd probably go with Brister as well but as Bob stated Indy's D has played better of late and actually needs to win to get in if I'm not mistaken...I still think Brister's your best bet. ------------------ Principal Skinner to the school hamster after sending it into a snowstorm to rescue himself and the children"Nibbles, you made it!Now chew through my ball sack" Just some more brilliance brought to you courtesy of The Simpsons
