Wow. Writer director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.
I watched it yesterday. It met all my expectations. Great acting, and mix of humor. JoJo and his little friend, along with the other characters, did a fantastic job in their roles. As a woman who watches "Young and the Restless", I'm so used to seeing kids who can't act. The kids they cast have been almost unbearable to watch over the years. They must be relatives, or friends of friends in high places to get their casting roles.
Luckily their parts are few and far between. Most American soaps aren't worth binging anyway. I suggest EastEnders if you want to binge a soap. The Brits know how to do that right.
I assume he was joking. It would take a year to “binge” that show. And that’s at several hours a day lol
You...you were thinking of binging a show that has 11,000 episodes, as of 9/2016? Prayers up for @KingCheetah. Ain't gonna be young nor restless by the time the binge is done
Not sure if you'd know a good taco if it c.... yeah, I should stop there eta: glad some of yall liked the movie
Putting stuff in a tortilla doesn't make it a taco. Having said that, a lot of what you can get at Torchy's is really, really good. Saw Jojo Rabbit on Saturday. Fantastic! Sam Rockwell is so underrated it's criminal. He came into our facility to do research while preparing to film "Frost/Nixon". Of course it was during the week I was on vacation so, I didn't get to meet him. Same thing happened with Harry Shearer.
