At Red Star on Friday, I met a guy who works for the Texans... he said the vote was so incredibly one-sided.

I guess we are no longer "living the dream"

glad they're going back to the clay walker song...

living the dream was just flat out funny...i went with a friend to the preseason game vs. Denver the other night...everytime the Texans did something bad, one of us would say, "that's certainly not living the dream."

It might have to grow on you.

I think they should have stuck with the Clay Walker song.

At the game, the fans didn't seem too impressed.

Don't give up on me yet. I've got plans dawg...big plans. I will be stepping outside of the Pulltab Envelope to collaborate with someone else. Someone you guys know. Can't say who yet...maybe tonight.

Similar to Don't mess with The Texans but with a more talented lead vocalist. I willl just be hollering "If you mess with the Bull you get the Horns" part.

Also, about the voting on the texans site. Picking between that high school band abortion (my alma mater BTW) and Clay Walker's pathetic Hank Jr. Rip-off is like picking a hot poker in the eye or castration. The proverbial lesser of two evils.

Keep your ear on the radio and your remaining eye on the tube...

    Chance --

If it makes you feel any better, yours is the official fight song of my family! My son constantly does the "hook em horns" sign and sings the chorus...he particularly likes the "I SAID NOW!" after the line about the Cowboys. Good stuff! :)

Maybe not from this board, but judging first hand on game day experience (tailgating, food/drinks, player intros, etc), the Texans really want this to catch on.

It's a little too college sounding to me, but once 70,000 fans start screaming it, it will sound different (especially to the other team).

Everyone needs to experience the Texans games.

    Their awesome:cool:
