This match did little to increase my confidence in them. At least they will feel slightly less pressure in the next match.

3 really good matches, there was bound to be a dud. This Croatia/Nigeria match is a snoozefest.

You know you are going to suck when you have Alex Iwobi dictating your offense.

Another one of Wenger's failed projects.

Nigeria has got take out its lazy big name players, they won't win if they don't try harder than the other team, they think they are the same talent level as their opponents. Big mistake!

Who are the lazy big name players?
I don't think the issue with the Nigerian team today was that they didn't "try harder". They are a talented team but they also have an overly overly overly cautious manager who refuses to play some players in positions that would help his team and start certain other productive young players up front.

He's 22. I assume he will be in Emery's team next season and will be given an opportunity to prove himself to the new manager. I can think of several other Wenger signings or youth players that qualify for that tag. Iwobi has at least another season to prove his value to Arsenal and Emery.

Also, Iwobi has been a very good player in international football since he made his debut for his country. Some players shine even more on the international scene than they do at certain clubs or under certain managers. It's how it goes sometimes.

My predictions. No scores though, that's all you.

See what the others on here predict and maybe go with the majority opinion.

Don't think we are really worried, but take every opponent serious. Should be a win though.

Hoping for a “2014 semifinals against Brazil” like performance.

Milinkovic-Savic with a great game. Mentioned him a year ago as someone I'd want to see at Bayern, too bad we are packed in midfield. :(

    Breh will be a beast.
