Nice sit down interview with Faried by Sekou Smith. Greg Anthony makes his case for Harden being the best offensive player ever. I don’t know if this has been posted already, but I thought it was thread worthy.
One big advantage the Rockets have this year is pure hunger. I do love that we have multiple players with a lot to prove. Not just Harden and CP, but role players like Manimal and Faried. Even MDA and Morey want to be validated. There should be no letting up this year. I think we may destroy whoever we face during this playoff run.
I'm never happy when Faried gets fewer minutes, unless he is injured or in foul trouble. He needs as much game time as possible in order to get ready for the playoffs. I hope he will have a big game against OKC, in this important final regular game. It's not easy to turn the engine on without adequate quality minutes. He is one of our X factors. Rivers and House are the others. I didn't include Gordon because he is a veteran on our team. Go Houston Rockets!
Harden is such a great offensive player he can make it feel like one role player is actually two. Wilt was never able to accomplish this
Faried and Rivers were tremendous in season acquisitions. MDA has a legit 9-10 deep rotation and that doesn't even factor end of bench guys in blow outs like Shump and Clark. CP3/Rivers Harden/Green Gordon/House Tucker/Faried Capela/Nene
Harden must, I repeat must have a stellar playoffs. If not, he is a forever a regular season wonder, and that's it. No late nights, no wacky weed, no nothing but focus, focus, focus. If he wants a positive legacy to go with all his regular season records, he must succeed in the second season.
Funny how morey was crucified for saying the exact same thing Anthony is saying now a while back. Good to see people are starting to see how great Harden is
