    Trade ID 351896 on REALGM

Would Rocket fans consider trading Maurice Taylor straight up for Marcus Camby?

I have to agree with Eric, in another thread, that Marcus Camby should do well if he were a Rocket.

Plus, he actually rebounds and blocks shots. Something Maurice Taylor doesn't do.

I'm all for it , trade Taylor for Camby.

Look at it from the Knicks point of view. Why would they want MoTay over Camby? Taylor has more scoring punch, but right now Camby is a more solid player in all other aspects. It makes no sense for them to do the deal.

I also have heard that Camby has gained nearly 25 more pounds of raw muscle this off-season and looks to become a better post threat. I dont see NY giving that up.

I would do this trade easily, since Camby is just as talented as Taylor, but he can play center, and since we have enough PF's. However, like RL said it is very unlikely NY would trade Camby for Taylor. They have very few big men and Longley might retire as well.
