Barkley and Hayes are my guys. I like Carlos Rogers too, but for other reasons.

Horry was a PF, he was part of the new school PF who jacked up 3 pointers.

OT complimented Dream for the low post game, rebounding and defense.

Horry kept hitting all those 3s forcing the other teams to either not double Dream/Shaq/Duncan

He pulled Rodman away from the post vs San Antonio and Sean Elliot isn't tall enough to affect Horry's outside shots.

    1. Chucky Brown
    2. Charles Barkley
    3. Luis Scola
    4. Chuck Hayes
    5. Carlos Rogers
    6. Carl Landry
    7. Otis Thorpe
    8. Mo Taylor

I loved Horry in the earlier days but I thought he was really lazy toward the end of his time in Houston.

I could see Scola jumping to the top of this list, but Chucky and Charles were two of my favorite Rockets period.

I correct people with facts like you, my style is a little different.

you might go for the PM Dawn, I might go for the DMX style. that's all.
I post article links etc to prove my points, I'm not screaming for the sake of it.

what am I suppose to say when someone compares Tmac to Olajuwon?

Thorpe for me.A great complement to the Dream and a deserving NBA champion.

The lack of love for Elvin and Rudy T, and practically no mention of Moses Malone (mostly a center), is startling.

    My All-Time Rockets Team:

    Akeem Olajuwon
    Moses Malone
    Ralph Sampson
    Rudy Tomjanovich
    Calvin Murphy

Bench: Elvin Hayes, Clyde Drexler, Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, Steve Francis, Rodney McCray

Coaches: Rudy T, Tom Nissalke, Bill Fitch

I love that someone else posted Chuck before me! ;)

I have to say that since I have been watching old Rockets vids (which are getting increasingly hard to find games I haven't seen) I have decided I really like Otis Thorpe

Oh, you mean moses Malone. That guy!! One of the top 50 players of all time. Why couldn't I remember him? Probably because the question was Favorite Rockets Power Forwards. Oh yeah, Malone was a Center, probably why nobody has mentioned him or why I couldn't remember him!!!!!!!!

Again. Mo is one of the top centers of all time. Billy Paultz, the whopper, there was a power forward who lined up next to Mo. Loved the Whopper!!!

    Akeem.

He played some PF during the Twin Towers days (when Ralph rotated down to C).

Otis Thorpe. I miss his football passes down the court for easy fast break buckets. I can't remember seeing any other player do that on a consistent basis like him. Plus he helped get us Clyde.

OT, big, hands down. big rebounder but could dominate when he wanted to. let Hakeem have his way, but when Hakeem went down for 3 wks after Caldwell elbowed him in the eye, OT stepped up bigtime to show his stuff.
