A note about the new lineup requirements for pitchers. A legal pitching lineup will look like this: (i) 5 SP + 2 RP or (ii) 4 SP + 3 RP Now, one thing to bear in mind is that sometimes a player on the site will be categorized as a RP but in actual fact is a starter, and vice versa. With this in mind, a clever owner may try to get cute and slip a starter with an RP classification in the lineup with the intention of getting 6 SP into the lineup. Consider the following sample lineup: Mike Mussina-SP AJ Burnett-SP Ricky Romero-SP Gustavo Chacin-SP Zack Greinke-SP Kyle Kendrick-RP (really a starter) Jonathan Papelbon-RP This will be treated as 6 SP + 1 RP, and is illegal. Only the first 5 starting games pitched will be counted. Bottom line is that only the first 5 SP games will be counted, regardless of pitcher classification.
