    We (in the west) can come up with any number of "solutions" to the problem with Islamic fundamentalism, but the only real long term solution that will ever stick and bring that sect into modern day thinking and sensibilities will HAVE to come internally from within Islam. All we can do is support the growth of moderate Islam and those courageous enough within that religion to take a stand.

    There is no other real and permanent solution.

    This and her full statement are really inspiring. It's a far cry from all the Yahoo! idiots posting in the story of the Queen visiting survivors in the hospital. They were ripping the hell out of her for fleeing to Florida and not being there for the fans to visit with them. It seems they jumped the gun. She has a little thing to work through including her own trauma and logistics of how she will respond.
