Experiences at the Lasik-the vision institute?

    Don't do it there. They screwed up my eyes. Gave me 'mono-vision' even though I specifically said I did NOT want that. Terrible decision. I would undo it and stick with glasses if I could do it all over again.

    had an friend who did it a few years back and she was very satisfied. but i think the eyes get permanently sensitive post lasik. she said it was worth it as her eyes were super messed up like -4 or worse.

    i wouldn't do it if it's just -1.

    well for me it’s bothersome because I work a lot with computers and especially because I have astigmatism

    Lasik won't fix problems that come with aging. Most people end up needing reading glasses at some age, and that's still likely to happen.

    I myself am nearsighted and have been strongly considering it.
