I think too many people's expectations for JJ are off the charts - he will never be Andre Johnson's replacement. Heck, he'll never be Kevin Walter's replacement. He's not that good. And the Texans might - might - eventually release him once they start fine-tuning their roster. But he's a very dependable PR with game-breaking skills and a perfectly average 4/5th option - and you really don't need him to be much more than that.

The hatred for him is unwarranted, IMO, and I agree 100% with jaxwithanx.
