    No. 10???

    Give me a freaking break!!

We're in the top 5....AT LEAST!!!

If they dare put Boston ahead of us, I will scream. A city with 8 freaking consecutive NBA championships...a MLB team with a rich history that has at least won a playoff series....a football team that has multiple Super Bowl appearances and championships.

Don't you DARE put Boston ahead of us, freaking Bristol, CT ESPN freaks!

Seriously....1980 Astros collapse to Philly....86 16 inning loss to Mets....Mike Renfro...Buffalo...Denver....Joe Montana vs. UH...Joe Montana vs. the Oilers....franchise relocation...

no one comes CLOSE to this. no one. don't give me Montreal, either. the friggin Canadiens are among the greatest franchises in all of sport.

don't give me chicago....the bulls won freaking 6 titles...the bears, until recently, have always been a great franchise.

    who's left??? philly??? who??? RIDICULOUS!!!!

From this article, the first great moment (opening of the Astrodome):

There are 4,596 plastic panels. Banks of red, orange, yellow and blue theater seats surround a field of artificial grass.

Um, the Dome had real grass it's first year. The grass died, leading to the invention of Astro-Turf the second year. Which led to the invention of ACL reconstructive surgery.

Also, they were Glass Panels, not plastic, in order to let the sun in so the grass could grow. That didn't work out to well. Players couldn't pick up fly balls, so they painted the glass and the grass died. Go figure:confused:

I have Trachsel at home going against the Expos, who are hitting a whopping .200 as a team with 24 total runs. Schilling is facing Toronto. My staff isn't quite dead yet.

There goes ESPN again messing around with those pesky "facts."

Their whole list was pretty lame. No 1995 championship?

That play pretty much took the winds out of the Astros' sails for a long time. I hate Waly Weiss.

Yeah, and then there's this little bit about '94...

In the first season after the first retirement of Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon steps forward as the most dominant player in the game. Drafted two spots before Jordan in 1984, Olajuwon pulls off a Jordan triple, winning regular-season and Finals MVPs as well as leading his team to the title.

First, it's all about Jordan, is it? Second, the "Jordan" triple Hakeem really pulled off was regular-season and Finals MVPs and Defensive Player of the Year, which Jordan didn't do. So there! :p

    ESPN sucks.

Look at that paragraph. It's suppose to be about Dream, but they mention his name twice, and Jordan's name three times.

Even when talking about another player, they still have to find a way to blow MJ.
