Shut him down for the rest of the season, then shut the Astros, as a team, down. Move Beltran to the Phillies for Gavin Floyd or Cole Hammels and a prospect, then move Kent.

Bring up Burke and assign Tavares to New Orleans for the rest of the season. This is becoming a joke of a season and if the Astros don't make some tough calls they will be left out in the cold come season's end with old players, no "pen", and no farm system.

Pettitte threw a little yesterday and it didn't go good. He decided to wait until today to try to throw a bullpen session. If he is able to pitch I would bet it's really going to limit his effectivness. When was the last time Hernandez pitched? He might be a candidate to start on Saturday.

Hernandez pitched yesterday, giving up 4 runs in 4 2/3 innings, with 5 K's.

If Pettite can't pitch Saturday, then expect Darren Oliver to get the start... he threw 2 innings yesterday (which amounts to a glorified bullpen session).
