Lowry's shot has really improved over the last couple of years, even last year he was shooting 39% from 3...but his shot doesn't quite seem to fall in the playoffs. In the playoffs over his career he is shooting at around 38% FG and about 31% from 3.
Agreed, this has a lot to due with Mike D'Antoni and the offensive system he runs. D'antoni puts players that fit into his system into positions where they can succeed. Hopefully Eric Gordon maintains the level of awesome for as long as he can!
Both players shoots lights out from the arc. I'm just glad we finally have a player that can rain three's like no other. Thank you Horford and Bazemore for turning us down. If it wasn't for these two we wouldn't have these two sharp shooters (Gordon/Anderson ). Hats off to Morey for having a backup plan that's actually better the A plan.
Lowry deserved it, he was one of the biggest finds in Morey's career (and not surprisingly, ended up being a key piece in getting Morey's biggest find in Harden). Klay Thompson was the one that shouldn't have gotten in.
Eric Gordon with the Clippers was once considerd a top 3 shooting guard and a franchise player. The brother can play. The problem has been his health. When healthy he is a beast.
He is a scrub, and there are 10 PGs I would currently take over him. He is 3rd tier material. Notorious for choking. Overrated. Perhaps in your mind the term "scrub" applies only to players that have never worn a Rockets uniform in their career.
Its hard to call scoring 30 points in 6 of 11 games and leading your team to a Conference Finals against the eventual champs a "scrub" and choking. If thats the criteria used to value players, then you need to change your username to "derozaned", because Harden has similar well known blips in his resume as well.
Where do you get your stats from man? I count 5 of 20 playoff games with over 30 points and FG% .397 / 3Pt% .304. On 38 MPG. Scrubbin' like a boss
One of the signs for X-only-fan is the need to diss other players in order to prop up his favorite guy. And this thread isn't even about Derozan, Lowry, or Harden.
