    Nah. I rather go with what the team has and just add Dalembert and roll with that. See what the team can do and if necessary make a trade on the trading deadline.

    I hope NewOrleans use their amnesty on Okafor. He is originally from Houston and if we can sign him for MLE, we will have a solid center who can block and rebound. I like him.

    If NO trades him, that means they are trading his contract and don't want future salary back in return. That would rule out Scola. And I don't think he's worth a Kmart. So unless we can get him for Thabeet, Flynn type players (meaning they're just dumping salary for non assets), then I guess. But even then, that contract....

    Yes...that's the point I was making. Stern made it clear that he doesn't want heavy contracts back that the other owners will have to consume. Thats why NY #1 , budinger and goran dragic etc... should be enough but you never know. Stern may ask us to throw in Calvin Murphy's widow peak

    everybody thought okafor would be better than he he is now when they gave him that contract.
