    So is this just a small area like, the size of a smart phone? browsing like to search stuff on google, facebook , etc? I'm leaning toward the nook or Augen...anyone have one an Augen The Book?

    it's an area about 1.5 in by 4.5.

    I'm not familiar with the Augen Thebook but it's an LCD screen. If you are really a heavy reader, i would recommend a device that uses e-ink.

    what i dont understand is why would they price the kindle subscriptions of the NYTimes and WSJ at $19.99, which amounts to the same price they charge for a physical-paper subscription? it makes no sense at all since they are saving paper, labor, and delivery costs :confused:

    Newspapers don't make any money at all on the manufacture of the actual paper, so it's delivery method is moot in terms of your bottom line. They make $ on the subscription and advertising fees.
