Is this what he calls the play where Harden and Howard runs the pick and roll with Lin standing in the corner?

Not that Lin isn't a good pick and roll guard, Harden is just an elite player out of the pick and roll and creating off the dribble overall.

Funny roster due to how Morey wheeled and dealt for talent all these years: Houston's 3rd and 4th best players (as measured by RAPM at least) are basically a lesser version of it'd 1st and 2nd best players. You hope for a better overall roster fit but gotta take talent where you can find them and make the best use for it.

Howard would not have come to the Rockets if James Harden wasn't on the team.

    Good to hear.

For people talking about Harden vs Lin, that's the wrong way to think about it. Harden AND Lin. Having two excellent passers, including passers in the pick and roll, is better than having on excellent passer. It puts more pressure on the defense.

If you watched Lin in New York you know what he was able to do with Tyson Chandler. Now imagine Chandler was Dwight Howard.

Can't wait for the season to start.

I think he would have gone to any team that didn't have Kobe in it.

As nice as that would be, it's going to happen sparingly. If PnR is going to be run it will be initiated by Harden the vast majority of the time. It will be nice if Lin turns into a more traditional PG role but I really, really don't see that happening. I hope he got his 3pt shot down because that's all he will be shooting next season.
