Probably not thread worthy so please merge if needed. But with all the people I see worried about what Dwight thinks here it is...http://sports.yahoo.com/news/howard-parsons-absence-wont-affect-221241012--nba.html?lbx=gs50
But what about all the 14 yr old girls at Toyota Center? <img src="http://i.imgur.com/wekQo.jpg" width=800>
Exactly Howard probably told Morey he needed to get rid of the pretty boys and foreign players outside Montiejunas because he probably feels good about how Montiejunas challenged him somewhat when he first came to league in that press conference... we want guys that will run through a wall sarcasm...
This is the mentality we need out of Howard-- and Harden, too. Morey choosing flexibility over Parsons is an expression of doubt of Howard and Harden as much as it is of Parsons. Morey is saying he doesn't think Howard and Harden can get the job done with some additional elite player acting as a crutch. Time for them to prove Morey wrong. Right now, it's good that we are filling the roster out with guys who are "willing to go through wall to win." But is James Harden willing to display some defensive effort to win?
Good to hear. That's the mindset he needs. It's about him and Harden, not the role guys. They need to play on higher level, where the role guys can be changed out for similar players and the team won't miss a beat. It may not be realistic, but that should be their mentality.
I might be in the minority, but I think it's totally thread-worthy. And reassuring -- glad to hear he is optimistic & feels OK about everything.
Morey's rabid search for an "elite 3" follows the same mentality. I think it's the Yao-TMac era that factors in his thinking. All those first round exits then and now...
Thanks for bringing up the article OP. I'm glad Howard is putting it on the shoulders of himself and James.
"it's on me" mentallity will just lead to another 1st round exit. Can't blame Howard though, it's all on Morey.

excellent point perfect counter-point. Morey does have the same mentality, and yes, he was strapped to making moves in the Yao-TMac era and had to watch us lose with little ability to help. But bottomline: Howard and Carl Herrera are right. This is about the players now.
IMMA RUN THROUGH THAT WALL FOR YOU, DUH-WHITE. I PROMISE. WE GON BE BETTER THIS SEASON. WE GOIN 0 TO 100 REAAAAAAL QUICK
Howard has been preaching this since they lost game 6, so i hope people don't think it's because of Parsons leaving. That's the mentality he had later against Portland. It shouldn't be a problem, but an advantage. We just need Harden to execute it well, also.
