    I used to think so. Still DM by a long shot for me. After Technique New Order was just ok. Are you adding Joy Division to the equation?

    I will say that after Wilder left DM they lost something ,and yet they still pump out very good music.

    It’s not a tough call and I like Duran Duran. DD has tons of good songs but for me, they are the hair metal equivalent of pop/new wave.

    DM dives deeper into sex, religion, pain. It’s just a helluva lot deeper than Duran Duran. There is more meaning in their music.

    Duran Duran is fun. Depeche Mode’s music touches on far more emotion.
