    "I really like his game."

    -Drexler on every 8th man on the opponent's rotation.

    It's really not a Drexlerism but sometime last year when I think a player patted another one on the butt or something like that, Clyde said, " hey, get a room". I laughed out hysterically. It caught me totally by suprise.

    Clyde sounds like a commentator straight out of a videogame. He just repeats the same 8 comments randomly.

    imagine Clyde AND Rudy T doing commentary.

    it would be banality vs cliche in dullsville.

    All the team commentators are homers. And homers get over-excited when they see their players make a good play, hence the hyperboles. What's wrong with it? Go Clyde.

    despite of all the gems posted here my favorite "drexlerism" is his totally out of place inappropriate chuckle.

    i would love to see van chan back as a third commentator with bill and clyde now that would be entertainment

    You forgot about Bullard.

    "Now if we can freeze the playbaaaaaack NOW, you'll see that Yao is looking to set a pick for McGrady to free up space for Battier to feed him the ball at the top of the perimeter."
    <img src="http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f113/wh3r3izcain/bull1.jpg">

    "And riiiiiiiiiiiiiight NOW, when we stop it here you'll see Yao stopping Oberto dead in his tracks and Battier doing just what I said he would do...ditching the ball off to McGrady at the top of the key...while McGrady's defender is still a good distance from him thanks to that screen by Yao."
    <img src="http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f113/wh3r3izcain/bull2.jpg">

    "Now play it back.....ok.....and if we can pause it abooooooouuut HERE, you can see McGrady pulling up for the jumper, but in doing so, he has drawn both defenders away from Yao, freeing up Yao to cut directly to the basket uncontested. Battiers defender at the bottom of your screen can't pull away from his man because of the threat that Battier poses from the three-point line. I remember a certain someone back in my day that could knock down the three...don't you Bill?"
    <img src="http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f113/wh3r3izcain/bull3.jpg">

    "Now let's watch the action unfold, wait stop it HERE! After Yao gets the pass, the remaining three defenders have to collapse on Yao in the paint...Duncan comes over from the baseline and the other two from the wing. But at this point, there's really nothing they can do to prevent Yao from taking it to the hoop. Okay let's play it back."
    <img src="http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f113/wh3r3izcain/bull4.jpg">

    "And finally Yao takes the ball up to the rim with authority and there's absolutely nothing that Tim Duncan can do to prevent the score. What a great display of spacing by the Houston offense, not to mention the screens and quick cuts to the basket that Adelman's offense pushes hard for. Hey Bill...what do we have here? Looks like the Rockets ran a play to let us all know how they feel about their favorite commentator and former three-point specialist."
    <img src="http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f113/wh3r3izcain/bull5.jpg">

    Bill: "Yeah Matt...we know. And meanwhile the Rockets have scored 10 unanswered points while you were fiddling with that thing. Let's get back to the action."

    Face it guys, both Bullard and Drexler are pretty awful. :eek:
    Bullard is just plain boring; and the other one is ... well... like a carzy drunken uncle trying to fix the xmax fairy lights but fuse the entire lighting system instead.
    I'll have JVG over those two in a heartbeat...
