Not quite, but Dragon Ball was definitely underrated.

Loved the manga and read it over and over again when I was growing up in Korea. When I moved here and it was on Cartoon Network I couldn't watch it because of how freaking slow it was.

I enjoy both animes. If you think Naruto is BETTER, that's your opinion, and a perfectly legit one at that. If you think Naruto is more POPULAR, then you'd be dead wrong. Have you ever read through that list? Advent children was a really cool animation, but why is it even on there?

Give a random person on the street a picture of Goku and a picture of Naruto, I guarantee you a significantly higher percentage of people will recognize Goku. He's frikken Goku, dude.

Watched it when I was little, was addicted. Now I have no desire to watch it again, along with most anime aside from.

my gripe with DBZ is it would take 2-3 episodes before things got interesting...bunch of filler episodes.

After getting anime I did not go back to DBZ.

It was great, but I hated the frequent filler episodes

Loved watching the spanish/japanese theme song intro, its the best. The only thing that bothered me about watching the american version is the theme song. It was always some generic pop/rock song that just does not compare to the original. They should have just kept it how it was, only with english lyrics instead.

I'm not saying Naruto is more popular. I'm saying it is generally considered much better than DBZ and if you find any list or go to any forum it seems most agree with that.

Sure it is my opinion but ...this is the internet and opinions clash. But I don't think DBZ is better than 'Insert Anime Here' is a popular opinion. I think to most anime fans that have watched at least 10 different series would have DBZ somewhere down their list.

Y'all should watch Batman: TAS, Superman: TAS, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited. They were all FAR superior to Dragonball Z.
