If I was a GM, I wouldn't touch Michael Porter in any scenario. He may turn out to be 100% healthy, and a transformational type player. But all signs are pointing to a guy that will have constant injury problems with an inflated ego. I'm fine with taking risk... eg. Trae Young. Trae might me out of the league in 5 years, or could be Steph Curry lite. He at least (i) is healthy, and (ii) seems like a good guy and hard worker.
[Turner] The Clippers have been rebuffed in their attempts to procure a deal for a top-five pick with the Sacramento Kings (who pick second), Atlanta Hawks (third), Memphis Grizzlies (fourth) and Dallas Mavericks (fifth). http://www.latimes.com/sports/clippers/la-sp-nba-draft-clippers-20180619-story.html
Since there (allegedly) will be a trading "frenzy" for the #3 pick (for Luka) if the Kings draft Bagley, I expect the Kings to draft Luka for the sole reason they don't want to be the team that passed on him.
There's so many exciting players and moves to be made in this draft. I'm hoping this doesn't turn into another ho-hum dud draft.
