Don't think James Harden will be MVP and the reason is Chris Paul

Chris Paul is 14 and 0 when playing. The Rockets likely will win a bunch more when he plays again.

Meanwhile, 4 game losing streak without him out.

This will become the narrative as in Harden got more help than LeBron

I think Harden deserves it so far but scoring leader or not, the media will make up an excuse to lessen his achievements.

They will certainly use the CP3 argument to "hurt" James in the MVP race, but at this point who cares, if he wins it great, if not i'm good, team comes first and it's what matters, i'll stop here for today.

We don't have the defense or ball movement we need when Paul is out. Harden scores so much because he takes twice as many shots as everyone except Gordon. His FG% is not any better than most.

James Harden doesn't deserve it nor should he really want that one. He should want nba finals mvp... if he gets that then the very next year he will have a easier time getting the regular season mvp.

did the OP just see what happened to tonite? the league is not giving harden MVP regardless of anything CP3-related. let me just clarify my point again in case it was too ambiguous... the league is not giving harden the MVP trophy.

It's a two way race between LeBron and Kyrie.

    good.

    1. Chris Paul is just a better player. ESPN got it right.

    2. Harden doesn't deserve it anyways

Exactly nobody will use the argument that James Harden isn’t efficient, and if they do, nba fans will rightly laugh at thier stupidity.

Just wait for OKC to be in the fourth or third spot and Westbrook to average a triple double again...lol

Stop worrying about the league MVP. Harden is not showing he's the MVP of his own team right now anyway so whatever.

I'll root for Harden to become an MVP when he plays more like one. Take all the filth and stupidity out of his game. If that day doesn't come, so be it.

That **** tonight was disgraceful. Before the second offensive foul, he was pushing SMART in a dead ball situation out of anger.. Mental midget.

Kevin Durant getting the MVP wouldn't bother me.
