    He made the Andy Griffith show as funny as it is. Even on 3's Company, he was still comedy genius. In Mr. Furley and Barney Fife, he portrayed 2 of the most clean-but-comedically-funny characters on TV for me.

    Don Knotts made his comic timing look easy. He and Andy Griffith played so well off each other. Awesome talent who made millions laugh.

    He was great.

    I thought Mr. Roper was better in 3's Company, but Barney and his Disney movies were fun to watch.
