i doubt it anyone has this but when i found out that these 2 guys were in the dunk i contest i have to see it!

Now I knew Weatherspoon was awesome back in the day, but I admit I had no idea Sura was in the dunk contest.

sura was a pretty decent leaper back in the day. he use to get up there in the mid 90s. i remember jordan dunking o0n sura back i8n the day also. POSTERIZED!!!!!!!

I knew Bobby was in the Dunk Contest when he was with the Cavs. I remember it very vividly because he wore those hiddeous black Cavs unis.....they were just gross looking. Terrell Brandon was the Cavs best player than, and Mike Frattello was caoch IIFC.

But Spoon.......in the dunk contest.......has spoon even jumped before?

Spoon finished 2nd to Harold Miner in 93. Sura was eliminated 1st round in 97, the year Kobe won it.

I didnt know Sura was in the dunk contest but it dosent surprise me cause I've seen him get up back in his younger days. Spoon used to be a pretty good athlete himself but I didnt know he was in a dunk contest.

the only pictures i have of spoon are of other players dunking all up in his grill. (jordan, chris webber)

Yeah, Spoon was a big time athlete coming out of school. I only saw highlights of that dunk contest, but he was really, really good. Sura sucked. I mean, the guy got up, and that was great, but he just kept coming over the top with a big tomahawk, and I remember the commentators kept saying something like "OK, well he's shown he can do that; now he needs to show a different flavor" but he just did more of the same dunk.
