I like that he’s been at the games. He could give tips espically with him coaching the clippers against Worriers last series. It’s a plus having him watching and being in touch with Rivers! He’s done very well coaching a team like clippers and taking 2 against the Worriers. I don’t care about the off-season right now, it’s all about winning this series and the championship. He’s probably there just to say you can’t let your in laws punk you.
Here's a question. What if the Rockets and Blazers advance to the WCF? Who does Doc pull for? His son, Austin, or his future son-in-law, Seth Curry? I guess that's an easier conundrum than if it's Warriors vs. Blazers in the WCF. Imagine the Curry family's predicament there.
Their story is actually pretty bitter sweet. Doc didn’t spend a lot of time with Rivers when he was a kid because he was coaching in Boston. It’s nice to see him be there for his son now though.
I searched. They wore black in game 1. I don't know why I was thinking home game. It makes sense Doc would have gone to it. He probably never left town. (But then again, Austin didn't play. It's probably just an old photo.)
If you feel like doing all the research into it, you could check to see if there were any bald refs for game 1 of the series. Since you can see that bald ref in the background of the pic. I'm with you, it's probably an old pic. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Uh, Austin. The man deflowering his little princess is at the bottom of the pecking order for everything.
Doc is a better coach than MDA. Doc and Kelvin waiting in the wings. a lot riding on this series for MDA. lol
If this visit was really legit and Doc really did come to just see his son, then where has he been all year? I hadn't seen him at a Rockets game before now since the beginning of April. If Silver doesn't fine the NBA is rigged.
Don't have to consider Seth family conundrum; don't care about Old Man River's. I just want Austin to keep making my original tho'ts about his signing weird.
Most def. his son and that shouldn’t even be a question. That said, regardless of whom he supports, the Rockets would obliterate the Blazers to same tune they did the Jazz...
