This is a really, really bad matchup for him. No hiding with Embiid in there.

Still, I like his hustle. He has value for us.

Me too, but Nene should try to match up with Joel as best as he can.

Can’t blame Faried tonight. Embiid is too skilled and big.

He should be practicing rolling, jumping and dunking all by himself all day if I were him.

    Faried looked really good tonight.

Terrible match up, but its already apparent how he can help against most teams.

Agreed with everyone saying that he looked great tonight.

Get a couple of practices in, along with some chemistry with Harden and CP3, and he'll be even better.

    He looked bad

But maybe he improves after some practices. This was his first NBA action in a while

Think about how good he is going to look when chris Paul can get him the ball.

How he looked bad? Compare to other scrubs on our team, i thought he was second best on our team tonight. :D

First game with the team, I thought he played OK specially couple of those pick&roll plays.

Maybe, maybe no. I'd be more excited if we had acquired him while we still had a healthy Capela.

He had 13 points (on 5-7 shooting) and 6 boards in 23 minutes without so much as a practice under his belt. I'm optimistic. I really believe once we get CP3 and Capela back healthy we'll have 48 minutes a game of lob threats.

Maybe because Embiid made him look bad, lol. Embiid destroyed our bigs tonight.

I'm so pumped up about Faried from what I saw tonight.

He needs a few practices and discussions with MDA & Harden, but once he gets into the system the chemistry between Harden and Faried is going to be amazing. Can't wait to see the p&R's and him hanging in the low post for a drop off.

What I'm pumped up about most of all is we FINALLY have a suitable bench player for when Capela comes out. Faried makes for the perfect Capela sub.

I was concerned about defense, but I no longer am. Sure, he completley blew a few switches tonight, and sure he is far from great defensively- but he wasn't atrocious, he was more than adequate. He showed he does have an NBA caliber IQ. and most importantly he hustles. He shows quickness for a center. What made Anderson so awful and unplayable was that he appeared to be moving in mud he was so slow while on the court. Anderson was a true defensive liability, in comparison Faried isn't even close to that.

he can finish at the rim, thats cool.. but we need a rim protector a lot more than we need that. if we cant get stops its not going to mean anything.

He did well at what we thought he would do well. He had a few nice pick and roll plays with James and finished well at the rim. That is why we got him.
