Nets also do not have James Harden.

Neither Harris nor Dinwiddie are quite on that level.

Guys like Faried and Rivers are good signings for our overall depth. We've had the worst bench this season!
Rivers and Faried are needed NOW to play vital minutes whilst we have injuries, but come finals when *fingers crossed* everyone's back and healthy, then I think these signings are important for depth.

Rivers and Faried will hopefully be what Morey signed and expected guys like MCW, Chriss and Knights (and oh yeah, Carmello) to be, but who were all duds.

Well yeah, Harden is amazing, but to think Dinwiddie or Russle can't throw Allen lobs is ridiculous IMO. They don't even try. Harden and Capela are good because they spam the simple things.

Faried will be a huge pick up Imo. I think even better than Rivers. Back up center was our biggest need and the dude is really talented.

I think he got complacent when he went back home to play for the Nets, ended up getting arrested in the off-season. Was probably hanging out with some of the old homies and stopped caring about ball.

He'll be focused in Houston with new life in his blood. And he's fresh too, no wear and tear.

    Absolutely.

A couple of things are true:
Faried is on his way out of the nba.
Faried has the rebounding, rim running, and energy that he needs to be successful.
Faried now plays next to the greatest offensive nba player of all time.

They can throw lobs but lack his ability to make decisions so quickly and decisively. Beard's IQ and court awareness are uncanny.

    And his passing is pinpoint.

He is a Vet.. hungry... knows his strength, can rebound, and still jump thru the Roof.

We need him.. and he needed us.

I am hopeful that it will work.

In the postseason no. As an energy big filling in while Capela is out during the regular season? Absolutely.

When you have a big like that he is going to help us at the 5 greatly. Rebounding and the Lob off the pick n roll can continue when Clint goes to the bench.

Decent game, other role players are not as ecstatic as he is.
