There are big players who can board and play D, but much much cheaper than Shaq.

Dallas might be exposed. But they helped Miami eliminated the power houses in the West.

Again, did Miami really need Shaq to win that championship? Now that Shaq has declined to no more than a glorified role player, is it worth paying him that much money?

 

his contract sucks, but they did get a championship. you can't say that he wasn't a factor. he may stink now, but his first 2 years he was pretty good. Especially against teams with bigs in the East, namely Detroit.
