Do Rednecks Integrate, Assimilate into American Society?

    Seems like a good number of them are intent on fighting against American societal norms and refusing to accept what America is now. Is there any hope that these people will eventually integrate and assimilate into American society?

    Would appreciate any current or former rednecks' input. Thank you.

    Also, why don't you people report people like Dylan Roof before they kill us Americans?

    They are really only called "rednecks" when they are Americans already. I'm not sure how well Pikey Brits, Bogan Aussies, or any other foreign version of rednecks assimilate into American culture but I'd guess that some do and some don't.

    All I know is no redneck wants me dead because I left my religion. That's assimilation enough for me.

    One of the biggest rednecks I ever met was from Rhode Island, it certainly has nothing to do with being from the south. Rednecks are everywhere.....except in Appalachia, the hillbillies scare the rednecks off.
