It's understandable to be a little disappointed with what happened; it's one thing to say 'be careful' or to go over the difficulties of an idea - but to have your significant other just shoot down the general idea because she believes you are not capable...well, that's unfortunate. You can't just dwell on it, though, Wild - it's just going to eat at you. Just chalk her up as one of the people you would prove wrong if you ever decide to do it. Unless, of course, her lack of faith in you is more far reaching than just this conversation...which could lead to a lot of other issues with your relationship.
