What was his beef with Pat? Did anyone see it?

 

How is that possible when your line crumbles and that pocket is no longer available after snap? I feel bad for the kid. **** O'Brien and McNair.

I think even though Watson had a bad game, if he had Fuller, I think it would of helped him out. It's easy for the Patriots to cover the main threat - Hopkins - and not worry about the other scrubs on the field.

 

Interior was good the tackles struggled but Rankin hasn't played but looked good once he settled and davenport just looked off. Plenty of times watson had all day to throw but nobody could get open and he held ball too long even he admitted that.

 

Tweeted something about him being inaccurate cause his feet were flat and Watson got butt hurt.

 

Pat posted vids on him being inaccurate due to bad footwork. Deshaun tweeted at him mad but deleted the tweets.

Yep. Thought there was plenty of time to throw. Belichick wasn’t going to let Watson throw it around the field again. Two catches by our RB’s..Have to check down when they’re taking away the deeper stuff. I’m not sure any team throws to RB’s less than us

 

Watson did a bunch last year as a safety valve but he seemed like he wanted a homerun every time he looked to pass.

 

It did. I love that about him but with Fuller out the game plan probably should have been a little different. Those fake reverse, play action, bomb down field plays were successful with Fuller last year. Not so much Sunday

 

If only we had a game plan that could have realized that the quick passing game was the way to go.....the Patriots figured it out pretty easily.

 

Miller was wide open on that bomb to Smith for the interception. Sometimes even if the check down is there, the QB doesnt take it. Sometimes when the open man in the endzone is there, the QB misses the throw.

 

And I blame that on a piss poor game plan and a QB not ready to play. Watson simply wasn't seeing the field very well, something that wouldn't be a problem if he had more snaps in preseason.
