Depending on House and McLemore in the Playoffs is Already a Joke.

Well , we will have Gordon back .. so you’d only depend on whichever one was hot .

House is not a Starter (aka Globe head) and James Harden was half stepping the whole game. I have seen this before Westbrook and those turn overs and mis every other shot

I've been saying for a while that house is a bench player. but some ppl really think he's starting quality material on a contender. no. he's not. mclemore is not either but what do you expect for the minimum.

all this game shows once again is how important eric Gordon is and how important it is to get a real starting 3.

other than that the warriors played great so kudos to them. don't let any record fool you in the NBA. there's so much talent out there and they were playing great team defense with those young legs.

all this trapping won't work with EG nailing 30 foot bombs.

 

Hate to say it but right now the Rockets are pretenders. When Gordon comes back healthy does that change? Idk. But something needs to.

 

Clutchfans spent all last year complaining about not having House in playoffs and now we are done with him?

Depending on Tilman, Morey, Mike, Harden & Russ in the playoff is already a joke!

 

This team has too many issues that won't be addressed, from coaching to the line-up. We're really going nowhere. I called it last year and it'll be the same this year, second round exit will be the best we can hope for.

House had 18, it was Bmac, PJ, Rivers, and Russ who sucked the donkey d++k tonight big time. Harden's numbers weren't bad but he sure looked lake lazy slow not engaged Harden most of the game to me... Clint also was swallowed up most of the game outplayed by Green and WCS on boards and under the basket. Just a horror show of a game and one that again brings up the obvious.... This team just isn't good enoghh night in and night on the Defensive end period !! The offense was bad from the start and Dantoni did very little about it as usual...

He hasn't played this year (or in the playoffs last year) like he did when he got sent down last year. He looks tentative, his shot isn't falling, he doesn't look like a starter for a championship-level team.

He elevates his play back to that before-the-contract-dispute level? He can play all he wants. But he ain't there now.

EDIT: OTOH, maybe we're just disappointed he's not a star? Because his last 4 games, he's shot 12-29 from 3, and around 50 percent overall. Meh to zero assists and boards though: ~3 boards/game, a little over 1 assist a game. I expected a star, anyway...

 

We already know who we can't depend on come playoff time because we've seen it. Capela has had horrible games and shrinks when the games become tight and visible (he is great in the early rounds). There is a reason we were shopping him after last years playoff run. House and Mclemore are probably not the long-term solution, but they can give a few good minutes here and there. PJ has no reliable backup and Clarke is definitely not someone we want seeing real minutes in the playoffs.

Russ, Harden, EG, Austin Rivers, and PJ are the only guys we know we can rely on in big games. Aside from that, pretty much everyone should be open for trade before the deadline.
