Murray deal just an additional year which can be an expiring in a trade also. Murray trade seems most possible and simple. I guess what I meant is I'm not looking to upgrade from Fred, I'm looking to trade away all of the veterans and go back to drafting and acquiring young players. I don't think making upgrades to any individual position is going to fix this team, unless we miraculously manage to get a guy like Ant Edwards or Jayson Tatum. We screwed up trying to accelerate the timeline and need to go back to the drawing board and be willing to miss the playoffs in order to have long term success.

Partially agree with going back to drawing board but I don’t see how we just go back to drafting and acquiring young players. Fred ain’t bringing nothing back and Sengun + Tari might be the only thing to bring back picks + young talent

This trade with Murray just to separate Ime and Fred while upgrading the position but I would see what Sengun & Tari brought for a soft rebuild. I want to get off Senguns contract and have fresh books leading up to KDs departure in 2028. If Reed shows ready to be starter you can trade Murray in 2027.
