lol. I know. A lot of the characters in the original comic books were basically based on stars of the day. Mary Marvel was based on Judy Garland, for example. A couple of weeks ago, there was an auction for one of the comic books that was used as evidence in the trial between Fawcett and DC Comics saying Captain Marvel and Superman were way too similar and the idea was ripped off from Superman. I was going to bid on it, but forgot about the auction. I'm still pissed.
So she had a pill and alcohol problem and was bat s**t crazy? Sounds like a fun comic. I'd check it out.
