    It's not really a deadline but it is ....

    He can be listed as "active" 50 games with the Rockets. After that, they either have to convert him to a standard veteran minimum contract or ... keep him on the two way but he isn't eligible to play in any NBA games after that point.
    The team still holds his rights, other teams can't sign him and he will be a restricted FA at seasons end.

    A team, like the Rockets, that is carrying fewer than 15 players on its roster is restricted to 90 total active games for its 3 two-way players until it adds a 15th man.


    I expect they will convert him, there's no one on the market that's any better, Conley, CP3 and Dinwiddie are washed ....
