Rough draft is finished and you can now select it at the bottom left of your screen ("ClutchFans Dark"). Like the original theme, please feel free to post feedback of what you like and don't like. I'm still making changes to both themes.
Outstanding! I never used Dark before, but looks like I'll be making the switch now. It really works great with the new software. I'm viewing desktop, but will test out mobile later. Thanks for taking time over the weekend to do this. And you finished before the Texans and Rockets games!! Extra bonus for the game threads today.
First comment: I just saw my like of your post above. I'd vote to make that darker, as it's a wide white space.
YUUUUUSSSS!!!!! Edit: Agree with hp, wouldn't mind the darker "like" part. Also it automatically switched to dark for me, didn't have to choose any options at the bottom of my page.
Looks great, Clutch. My only suggestion is to change the "Likes" section from white to black as others mentioned. See screenshot below.
Looks great! I wouldn't mind it being a little darker. That might just be nostalgia for the old version though. Actually I just realized when you quote a post in a reply, the quoted poster's name is too light. It's very hard to see their name. Perhaps make that a different color rather than light grey. I'm on mobile if that matters.
Couple of more quick ones to look at: URL links no longer stand out as different in font color or Underlined. You can't tell it's a link unless you hover over it. This is a link The "Click to Expand" in quoted boxes is black on black. iPhone font color for the names of members in quotes is nearly unreadable -- nearly black on black. iPhone color for Forum icons (that bubble quote image) which is Red for when forums have new posts is nearly black on black and unnoticeable when forum is all read. The Staff Member ribbon doesn't make you guys look as awesome as before.
This is pretty cool. I like that the forum settings are synced so that when I changed it on mobile, it showed up dark on desktop.
One thing I noticed that seems to be missing on the dark theme. With the original theme, the text that hides an inserted link (see?) is colored in red to help the viewer recognize its existence. But it isn't on the dark theme unless the mouse is placed on the text in which case the underline is shown. On mobile there's no way of knowing there's an inserted link until it's accidentally clicked on. Other than that, it looks great! Personally, I've always wished I could use the dark theme on my PC but it tends to strain my eyes and cause afterimages. However, with a better auto-brightness, I can use it on my mobile. Thanks, Clutch.
Thank you. It goes well with the avatars. If you've changed it, it's not DEFAULT. Default is how it is without you changing it, man. It is now "changed" or "chosen".
