Selfish Tilman ruined him! Now he'll never be an All-Star!

I posit that house has poor basketball iq, in a broader sense. Basketball iq shouldn't just be what you do in games, but also all the things you do outside of games that keeps you on the court. Like signing a damn gift of a 3 year guaranteed contract to make you a multimillionaire when you are a scrub nobody who wasn't drafted and has been cut by multiple teams over the years. Dumbass.

Surely I should be seeing some posts indicating that Morey is a genius for not caving into House's demands after this shitty performance.

House has reached Ariza level in terms of stupid fan opinions. Like Ariza he's both overrated and underrated depending on who posts.

He's either some scrub journeyman who should be happy to have a job, or a critical piece that we are hopeless without.

When can we all agree that the need for House is not overrated.
I mean, can any of us mention one single, memorable play Shump has made, so far.

To be fair, Shumpert has been injured and sick from the day he got here per Codman, so let's relax.

So, you're saying it's not overrated that we could use House?

Overrated or not don’t you still agree that signing him today instead of waiting would make no sense?

    I wouldn't say it makes no sense...no.

Since we have BOS, TOR and PHI coming up next week, seems we could use him with Shump being brittle right now. We can convert him now without going over the taxline, so the only argument against it is because of tax issue with saving money for a buyout which might not happen, and that player might not be more useful.

    I agree 100000000 percent.

House is a starter here no matter how you dice it. It is painfully obvious that we need his big boy size and defense. You CAN NOT start Eric Gordon, nor Kenneth Faried and expect to win a championship. This system is predicated on versatile wings, and House is the closest thing we have. He was giving us Iguodala-esque minutes at SF/PF.

    CP/Beard/House/Tuck/Clint

    6. Gordon
    7. Faried
    8. Rivers/Shumpert/Green
    9. Nene

It angers me that we are butt****ing around with tiny ass Eric Gordon out there.

The 4th best player on the team is stuck in the freaking G-league. Great work Fertitta.

Imagine having House in crunch time instead of Gordon throwing up trash with 22 seconds left on the shot clock

His defense, rebounding, shooting ability, and fit on this team is underrated. You could have a star join the Rockets, and he could still be a bad fit and cause chemistry issues. House fits perfectly.

You’re making it sound like he’s the difference between a championship or not and that’s why people are saying he’s being overrated. Since he started playing big minutes we’re 11-7 without him and 16-9 with him (roughly). Sure there’s a difference there, but also keep in mind Harden was scoring 40s in a lot of the games that we were winning with him.

I mean for gods sake what more does Morey have to do to make people earn his trust a little more?

We flamed out against the Spurs, Harden let it be known he needs help and Morey went out and got Chris Paul and the only way our season could have been better was if CP3 didn’t get injured.

He kept most of the players but chose to let Ariza go to avoid paying crazy tax and have a little flexibility moving forward. Said that our team won’t come together until the last part of the season, we laughed at him and he went out and got Faried and Rivers and Shumpert and made us deeper than last year.

He’s the one in negotiations with House’s agent, he’s the one that communicates with the owner and our players, and he’s the one that has made us the biggest threat to the Warriors until another team proves otherwise.

    Chill out.

because we already have 2 players like that on the roster (faried and rivers) and we are over the cap. you dont want to lose your whole roster and have use the Full MLE to re sign players and get hardcapped for the year at the apron

Danuel "Jeremy Lin" House thought he was too good for the Rockets. Oh well.

Trading our already limited assets for a known mediocre player with injury history was never going to work out.

I hope the House situation works out, but I am dubious at this point.
