I would much rather have Landry and Dorsey, or at least one of them.

Sounds like certain Rox player... :D

Could be just another training camp fodder. But with the current contract situation of Landry/Dorsey/Deke, can't blame them to look at some other options. Santiago, however, isn't much of an option imo.

Man I've been out of touch.... I know we were still in contract negotiations with Landry but I thought we already signed Dorsey :( We need at least 1 of 2

i saw him play when he was in Milwaukee. he is good and plays tough. i say he is an upgrade over Deke at this time. probably cost a little more too. good enough for 10 minutes per game. better offensive game than Deke right now.

WTF! They haven't signed Dorsey yet? I did a google and this is all I could find on contracts and Dorsey. He was still in negotiations on August 16th.

So we got Dorsey, Landry, and Mutombo all waiting it out for more money. Morey is a tough negotiator. I haven't ever seen Santiago play. Hopefully, he is healthier than Landry and is not a big drop in talent.

I don't think Dorsey or Deke are waiting out for more money. They're trying to sign up Landry first and then give the other two their offers. The holdup is Landry and his agent.

    Landry/Dorsey NEED to be signed.

We are thin in the big men department anyway - Just say no to Santiago.

I have seen this guy play and it wasn't exactly impressive.

The last time Deke was on camera he sounded like he just wanted any contract offer. By not signing Deke until Landry does it gives them roster flexibility to make other moves if things don't go to plan. Rockets want to sign Dorsey to a 3 yr deal at the minimum but they need to dip into the MLE to do that. The hold up is at Landry's end.

I remember Santiago from the Olympics or World Championships a while back...he had size and was more mobile than many would expect. I'd say he is a big body..but not as athletic as I would like.....Daryl Morey is a smart guy....This was a workout no more no less

Well at least if Yao goes down we've got size at the backup C position now!

Weiss and Santiago - you beauty!
