Two teams that are very similar offensively. Not a ton of size down low, like to run the court, and LOVE to throw up the three pointer. We're a very young team (6 freshmen consistently get PT), though, so a win in Houston could be hard to come by. It all depends on who the three is falling for, IMO...
Jeeber..I showed ya'll some respect... My...er.....er......investment portfolio consultant... said ya'll were +7.... So I hope ya'll lose a close, competative game
That's the biggest turd I've ever seen drop in the punchbowl. Well, definitely not the worst, but in the top 20. Up 11 with a minute to go ...and much BS going on at the end..how many times are we going to be called for stepping on the baseline?...what a joke.I hope the refs don't spend all that money in one place.
As they say in the commercial....Congratulations to you, Mr.I benefitted from this travesty/every squirrel gets a nut now and then.. J/K I'm glad for you bro..I'm just feeling the very temporary pain right now.Give me 15 minutes and it will be history. LOL
if we want to make the tourney we have to beat Memphis at least once, and that is going to be a b****
Good game, guys. Our three point shooting was horrible and wound up killing us. Hopefully things will be reversed when the Coogs come to El Paso...
I agree about the bricks out there, but the Coogs DID beat a good team.It will be interesting to see us beat them there as I think by the end of the year we will really be rolling.Lanny will be in shape.Cousin should be fully healthy,in game shape, and a difference maker...Toney's maturation continues also.Add in the play of the youngsters off the bench and I think at the end of the year we have a shot at beating Memphis here....certainly covering whatever the spread is. This team is going to make March Madness.
I like your optimism. I'm worried. Does anyone else find it strange that the CUSA conference is always in Memphis? It's hard enough that cusa teams have to beat a consistently superior team, but give them home court advantage?
There is a reason the tournament is always in Memphis. They tried to hold it in other places and noone showed up Memphis is the only place that could draw any thing other than flies to go watch.
I went to the UofH vs. SMU game and they hit a lot of their 3's, well, more than the Kentucky game...They are sooo much fun to watch...
Ah... And we have trouble filling the Hof when it's a good team (see Arizona), no way we could fill the Toyota Center. Good point. It sucks that we have to suffer for it tho.
