If you are gonna setup a meeting to sell something that you posted on Craigslist, do it on the parking lot of a local police station

Craigslist is the general population posting ads, there's going to be some bad apples. I've bought and sold a few different things (computers, mattress, massage chair) on there and have been fine. Do your homework and take precautions like you would with anything... meeting in public place, etc.
