Exactly, and this is a great point on the fever, I like to treat early sometimes but this is a great call out and something to think about.

If your woman is taking ibuprofen, please advise her to switch to Naproxen (aka Aleve). It's essentially the same thing as midol, just cheaper. She'll thank you later.

Tylenol is my drug of choice since I had GI issues and I don't drink. But everyone has a backup kidney, and you only need most of your liver, so some more food for thought!

Basically you just admitted you are anxious and worried and you would like to go on with your Ibuprofen intake regimen.

Just summarized it for you. Wasn't too hard to admit.

Assuming you are under 50, then your chances are good.

Yeah I just had an MRI two weeks ago and found out I have congenital spinal stenosis and a L5-S1 herniation causing mass effect of my s1-s2 nerve roots. Needless to say I'm on 800mg ibuprofen, 2400mg a day (among other things) and have no plans to stop until I get in for real treatment. Point is that it's very weird that France alone is suggesting this. Not saying it isn't true, but it could be a big problem if it is true - as most of us rely on ibuprofen for one thing or another.

of course, but the Point IS, there might not be any risk specific to coronavirus. We only have France suggesting this based upon limited cases of younger patients

    ??
I really don't think you're following this conversation, still. The message from France is ibuprofen might be source of complication for young-people cases, which suggests its bad for everyone. And it's not a matter of dying, complications leading to hospital stay is bad enough (e.g. those French young ppl cited in the alert)...esp if hospitals get swamped (see Italy) ... esp, esp if causes permanent issues.

Are you typing just to be typing? Because, honestly, you are not following the conversation, still.

*anyhoot* I'm out. please anyone, post new *official* Public Health announcements about Ibuprofen, should they arise.

    cheers

    Cheers.

It was just the brand war thing that I did not understand clearly.

Why is it hard to grasp that I wanted a human emotion from you once?

Why are typing such a long text just to admit what is most important to you?

Why does it interest you so much that there is a war at the stock market?

That was because you take Ibuprofen over Tylenol. (Very simple answer)

The ongoing conversation was between you and malakas.

I get that the French got to you because they endorsed paracetamol (acetaminophen) and there was little information on other countries doing the same.

And this isn't a one way street here, you can add anything else to the 'conversation'.

On the paracetamol vs. ibuprofen thing, remains to be seen if it is a case of correlation vs. causation, or if there is more to it. In case of doubt, I would follow that advice for now.

Great. This is what I was looking for, because it is more reliable than confirmed cases.

Also this from March 11 data. Since then the deaths have more than doubled.

Update: So I finished moving to Rügen this evening and state just declared they'll restrict access to the island starting tomorrow.

Talk about beating the clock.

Good job Yung-T. Keep safe and take care of you and yours.
