We are only down 6 at the half. I will take it. Duke played nearly perfect half of basketball. Frankly outtoughed us and kicked our ass. Florida came back from 8 down at half to beat Auburn, We can do the same. Make adjustments. Tall mountain to climb but for now I am still a believer.
Close to one of the worst halves they've had all year. Down six after that is workable. This Chuck and duck offense ain't gonna cut it though.
Everything about Knueppel annoys me. Even saying his name makes me want to punch him. Sounds like a made up name with weird extra consoinants. I don't like him.

Sampson said they were tight early. Some many bunnies and rimmed out shots the first 5 minutes. I hope those makes get them free flowing. On the other end, if the hard shows ain't turning it over, we might have to just let each Duke player go one-on-one. Sure they'll score some, but the looks in total may not be as good as they've been getting the last 10 minutes of the first half. Duke's one-on-one scoring might be as good as their playmaking, but we're not even knowing at this point. We're hedging too much towards playmaking each trip and Duke is dicing it up too often.
Honestly, this seems like a loss -- but Coogs still have a chance. Duke has been more lucky with some bounces after their missed FTs -- but they're out-playing us overall, plus we've made some contested (lucky/fortunate) 3's. We need to protect the ball better with these wack turnovers. Then again, Duke is playing well on defense with their effort and length. Duke's length is a problem. They've blocked some of our jumpers. Coogs have settled down after the first 10 minutes (namely, missed open shots) -- but we're missing 6-8 points on the scoreboard from that early stage which might cost the game. This is gonna be a tough one.

Knueppel is amazing to watch. He's doing it with smarts and technique. Athletically, he does not belong on the court. But he's a top player because of his work ethic. Love to see it.
Coogs maybe a bit too hyped up to start the game? They seem a lot calmer than they were at the start.
Terrible rebounding Duke is getting 2nd chances like UH usually does Some of these chances are lazy effort by Coogs Eta: and there goes another o-reb for Duke... smh
