I’m biased, but that Baylor team was a monster. They were a national title threat the year before they won…but Covid shut it down. They murdered teams. They made Gonzaga look silly. This Miami squad ain’t in the ballpark of that Baylor team. This is just a let down. The better team lost tonight. That sucks.
They outplayed us in all phases of the game. Give them credit. They had a game plan and executed it to perfection. When Sasser missed that open three when we were down four and chance to cut it to one and keep the momentum going that was a huge miss for us.. Afterwards we could not hit the broad side of the barn.
75 is more than enough to win almost every game in this tournament if they play even 1/2 as good as they’re capable of doing on the defensive end. That’s the let down. This isn’t on the offense, even as bad as it’s been from the 3 point line
Tip of them hat top Pack dude was unconscious. Fun season. I was really hoping to watch UH in NRG. Not mad, sad or pissed. This tournament is really hard to win.
Humiliating loss by my alma mater but probably inevitable given their over reliance on Sasser all year.
Credit to miami they punked us around Gonna need to hit the transfer portal hard for that upcoming big 12 schedule
It was a great season, a great run. Thought that this might be the year, but this team needed to be injury free and firing on cylinders offensively and defensively to make the Final Four. Didn't happen.
They played better than us. Too many injuries finally bit. So disappointed for the kids, but grateful for them too— this was an easy team to root for, all season long. Go Coogs!
I'm upset we lost but it will save me from the temptation of spending stupid money to go to the game next Saturday.
On paper it was very even. Except for shooting percentage. Sometimes the ball goes in the hoop a lot for the team you don't want to. Fwiw, Miami fans barely seemed to care. I hope Texas wins and then ass ****s them into the dirt on the way to a title.
Thinking back on to this team and i'm a little tight about wasting a spot on a transfer that never played Burned a scholarship on "practice" player
I am too and I have no connection to UH other than history, my childhood being a fan, the City, and 9 hours of continuing education postgrad classes. I feel for you guys. Would have been worse to lose on some rando buzzer beater though, because then you'd ask yourself "whatcouldabeen?" forever
