    It doesn't change much. the overreaction comes from fans and the random season losses don't change significantly unless teams go through a big skid. Ex) UConn for the first half of the year was riding high, they've since slumped and gone back to earth, losing 6 of their last 8. Now they look just like any other team out there. Also, North Carolina the perceived #1 team, now are no where to be found.

    March Madness is what it is. It's a one and done thing where a bad matchup can cost any team no matter what "rank" you are. It isn't specific to UH. Most of the matchups are new to both who have never played each other. There's a legit shot to win it all at home. The ride to get there is very much enjoyable regardless of a loss here and there. They were never going to go undefeated. No team does. KS makes the schedule with a purpose in mind.

    Completely agreed on all counts there. Yeah, I watched UNC play this week and I'm still really surprised they fell off so hard. OTOH, they may get hot come tourney time.

    You could bet UNC or Kentucky now. They both dropped from preseason +900 to +4000 today. Those bets were losers of course due to the value, but you have a chance if you like. You just never know what a season will bring that early.

    This has been my concern all year: consistency. Thirty plus games is a looooooong season. It is still hard not to compare them to the Hayes/Chaney team and the Dream/Drexler team. I pretty much witnessed every game those two teams played. They were remarkably consistent, killer instinct, and dominating. I recall very few "ice cold" games. They imposed their will in ways that was and is uncommon. Many of their games ending up being a dunking clinic. Go back and watch the videos. I know, "you are living in the past man."     Yeah, That would work fine through Paramount+, but it requires a cable/sat TV subscription... I don't have that either.
