NRG keeps reeling em in. http://www.chron.com/sports/dynamo/...er-championship-coming-to-Houston-6643562.php
Not sure if you are serious. That article is from today. http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/201...e-us-selected-to-host-copa-america-centenario
Well, you never know. USA isn't the main draw in this tourney. I'm more concerned with the field they're going to put down. Hopefully there will be enough time to put in a field with no other events before this starts. If they're putting the field in days before the first game, we won't hear the end of it as there will be more problems. Field needs to be in and set well in advance so there's fewer chances for problems. And no, there's no chance in hell they'll be playing on the trays or on synthetic.
I know nothing about soccer so forgive the ignorant questions. Is this worth going to? Is it going to be costly to go to or hard to get the tickets (will they sell out immediately)? The Dynamo are offering a presale to season ticket holders but is it worth it to buy a cheap package just to go to this?
Depending on which teams end up playing in Houston then it could be tough to get tickets. A lot of the South American teams could draw well, especially Brazil and Argentina, along with Mexico and USA. If it's in the knockout round it could also sell out quick. That also assumes that the teams bring their best players. The real Copa America was last year so teams may not have as much incentive to bring their stars in.
It's possible that major stars will skip this tournament since it's not on the tradional schedule and there will be pressure from the clubs. So we'll have to wait and see. If we get A teams, I'll buy tickets for Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, and Uruguay matches. Odds are pretty good we can get 2 of those 4. Would be cool to see Messi but again probably will skip. Oh and I despise the Argentina NT so there's that.

Just got my tix for all 3 games with Texans pre-sale! Prices aren't too bad.. I got each game for ~$120 first row section 356 Don't know who's playing except for Mexico in the 2nd group stage game.
Feb 3rd.. Y'all want my presale code? It says max 8 tix and i only bought 2. Let me know and i'll PM.
Yea anyone interested I can forward you my email as well...I bought 2 in section 114 row S for 583 total. You have to buy all 3 games at once.
Thanks man I'll wait. I'm trying to see who is willing to go and we would only go to one game anyway, haha
Im hoping the resell value will be high for the Mexico game and the semifinal game so my resell tickets will cover the cost of spent on them and my game ticket
