As of now, who should win coach of the year? I vote either Scott Brooks of Scott Skiles, they both have gotten the most out of their teams. My list: 1. Scott Brooks 2. Scott Skiles 3. Mike Brown 4. Nate Mcmillan
scott brooks wins hands down! he made the thunder into a winning franchise and a play contender from last yr, a bottom dwueller team with just 20+ wins to this year's potential 47-49 win team?
Scotty Brooks without a doubt.... NO ONE thought this team would be where its at. Another coach that would get a vote from me is ...Lionel Hollins? Coach for the grizz... i may be wrong but i think thats right. He has done a great job with handling knuckleheads like Zach Randolph.
Scott Brooks deserve it. Sometimes I think Rick Adelman should at least be up there in the top 3. Why is coach Mike Brown even up in that top coach talk? He's a terrible coach. The reason why he looks so good is because of Lebron. Imagine if the Cavs have a better coach like Adelman, they would win it all last season.
Brooks or Skiles. A lot of people had OKC taking that next step. Not sure if anyone had the Bucks being over .500 at this time of the year. If I had to choose I would go with Brooks though.
Mike Brown because while he does have arguably the best player in the world, other than him the team is very mediocre and they still have the leagues best record.
Scotty Brooks or Nate McMillan. The latter because they have a winning record despite the injuries to the team and the injuries to the man himself.
this isn't a good reason at all... the cavs don't have awful players... and lerbon is the best player in the league. That discounts any win for him.
Not medicore when they have Mo, shaq, jaimison, etc. Their team minus lebron is probably even better than the rockets

They have had Jamison for 10 games, before the trade they still had the leagues best record. Sorry to say, but Shaq, at 38 is a MEDIOCRE player. Mo Williams is good, I can't debate this but that is still a mediocre team without Lebron
No brainer: Scott Brooks. For such a young team to do so well is amazing. When is the last time a playoff team had 3 rookies in the rotation? And their top 3 starters are two 3rd year and one 2nd year player. Even though it's slipping big time now, I've never seen a young team play defense like the Thunder. When they lock in, it's a sight to behold.
