In response to a follow up question from The Washington Independent's Dave Weigel about the correlation between violent right wing extremism and Democratic administrations, Terry recalled a quote, which he believed to have originated with either Robert or John F. Kennedy: "When you make peaceful protest impossible, you make violent protest inevitable," adding, "I can promise you this--there is visceral contempt for this administration," in the pro-life community.

 

That is just crazy... How is peaceful protests impossible? Last I checked the Bill of Rights hadn't been repealed. I don't agree with Randall Terry but he is free to go out and peacefully demonstrate as much as he wants. More than that he is free to organize like minded voters to vote in politicians who support his agenda and to even give them money.

Throwing around quotes here here's another for Randall Terry "Violence is the last resort of a limited mind." If Terry thinks there is no more peaceful protests then he is severely limited.

It is an interesting meme to point out, but I wouldn't say he blew it out of the water. All he did was say, "yeah right, Nazis and white supremacists couldn't be right-wingers. Whatever!"
