you will take control of 1 of the 30 nba teams and create a 12 to 15 man championship or future contending team. contracts will becoming from http://www.hoopsworld.com/2010-11-nba-salaries/. salaries must match within 5,000,000 in order for the trade to go through. there will be hopefully 3 judges to determine the winner.

    Rules

    1. rookies are can be traded
    2. if a roster has more than 15 players to begin with(ex. Rockets have 17 atm) you must cut players until you have 15 to begin trading.
    3. any players cut are free agents so they can be picked up by any team they have room.
    4. each team will have 1 current first and second round picks and 1 future first and second round picks that can be traded.
    5. players who's contract has expired will remain on their teams and will be considered as expiring contracts. here is a link to the free agents: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?page=FreeAgents-11-12
    6. at the end you will write your roster and any pick you own and you will create a write up on why you think you should win.
    7. judges will score you from 1 to 3 each category of offense defense complimentary and clutch for championship teams and youth offense defense complementary for rebuilding teams.

    Teams
write your name in front of the team and if you are rebuilding or a championship team.

You have the current Miami heat roster. Free agents are only the players have been cut from a team. So if someone cuts one of their players you can take them if you want as long as you have room.

To trade players, just simply give someone an offer.
Ex. If I'm the rockets and I want wade from you, I simply ask "who do you want for easement?" Or I offer kmart and scola for wade.

First things first, if your roster has more than 15 players please cut players and I will keep a list of 'free agent' players.

Also, just a little tip when cutting players. Be aware if they are expiring contracts. (Use the link in the op. Free agents are considered expiring contracts.) They could come in handy in trading to rebuilding teams who want more flexibility for the future and remember that you also have picks that can be used for trades.

So current free agents will be thought of as expiring contracts correct?
